It is with great sadness that I have to report the sudden and unexpected passing of Terry Mann at his home on Saturday the 7th of April 2018. He was 72 years old.
Terry`s life revolved around shooting, both air rifle and full bore and he was a popular figure on the FT scene in the `80`s both here in the North West and throughout the regions. He was `the doctor` when it came to repairing and servicing air rifles and his skills and knowledge were legendary to shooters of all disciplines.
He was the Chairman of Byley FT club and had a great influence and physical input in the day to day running of this successful and unique air rifle club.
Always available for advice, he would always give unbiased and meaningful help to shooters whatever their problem was, be it rifle, scope, or ammunition.
A superb marksman, Terry had been there, done it and got the tee shirt.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and our thoughts go to his understanding wife Deidre at this very difficult time.
